Accepted materials: Small appliances that have a plug or battery for recycling, such as: electric toothbrushes, blow dryers, curling irons, vacuum cleaners, coffee makers, blenders, small fans, swamp coolers, humidifiers, carpet steamers, shop vacs and much more. Appliances that are 50-percent metal or more are accepted as scrap metal at no charge. There are minimal fees for recycling all other appliances.
Appliances are NOT recyclable in your curbside, single-stream recycling bin. No vacuum bags or glass (coffee pots, blenders, etc.), please.
