Congrats to Wallaroo Hat Company, Our Zero Waste Biz of the Month!
Boulder-based Wallaroo Hat Company recycles all packaging that they can, including plastic film and cardboard. In the past two years, they've diverted more than 3,000 pounds of plastic film and more than 30,000 pounds of cardboard from the landfill. Success like this requires an effort from everyone in the company—from an educated staff that sorts their materials properly to managers who arrange for the responsible recycling of materials and promote a culture that upholds Zero Waste principles.
