Green Star Schools: Zero Waste Certification Program for Private Schools

Many private and charter schools have expressed an interest in becoming a Green Star School. In response, Eco-Cycle launched its Green Star Schools- Zero Waste Certification Program in the spring of 2011. Through this program, Eco-Cycle provides significant assistance in establishing Zero Waste practices, procedures and education for private/charter school communities for an initial fee and a yearly recertification fee. Eco-Cycle will help private schools customize their Zero Waste efforts to reflect school culture and projects already in place. Recertification involves school documentation of Zero Waste practices and an Eco-Cycle audit of the facility.
