Zero Waste Event Vendor Coordinator
Eco-Cycle is hiring a seasonal, part-time Zero Waste Event Vendor Coordinator to work mainly on
weekends at Zero Waste events throughout the community. The coordinator will train and work with food
vendors to ensure compliance with Zero Waste standards at Zero Waste Events throughout Boulder and
Broomfield counties. Other duties include: loading, driving and unloading the events truck, supervising
the set-up and break-down of Vendor Zero Waste Stations and event equipment, monitoring Zero Waste
Stations for contamination of the recycling and compost bins, and working closely with the Zero Waste
Event Volunteer Coordinator. These staffers work almost exclusively on weekends (Friday-Monday) and
holidays. Hours will vary as events are sparser in May and June, getting busier as the summer continues,
with events every weekend in September. Qualified candidates will have attention to detail, ability to
handle stressful situations and manage conflicts, problem solving, some physical labor and long hours

detail, problem solving skills, an outgoing personality, ability to manage large groups of people, some

CHaRM Window Staffer
Eco-Cycle is looking for two friendly faces to staff the window at our CHaRM (Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials) facility part-time. Duties include interacting with the 100-150 visitors each day dropping off electronics and other “hard-to-recycle” items, answering recyclers’ questions, cash register operations, data entry, phone support and some word processing. Must be comfortable in a very busy setting, have good customer service skills, proficient Word, Excel, Internet and email skills. Forklift experience/certification also helpful, but not required. Drivers
Eco-Cycle is accepting applications for driver positions on an ongoing basis. We have full-time and part-time positions for Class A and Class B drivers, as well as account maintenance and helper positions. Drivers are required to have excellent driving skills, to be familiar with Boulder County and able to lift up to 100 lbs. An awareness of and commitment to the environment is strongly preferred.
