A-Z Recycling Guide -- Shipping Envelopes
Shipping envelopes are made from a variety of materials. Kraft envelopes (orange/brown) and envelopes with plastic content, padding or lining cannot be recycled with other paper envelopes. They can be reused for inter-office mail or craft projects or for mailing by covering up the old addresses and postage with labels.
